What IS paperbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. Prior to paperbacking, the window card's blank top was trimmed off. There were some nail holes, smudges, and stains scattered within the image (but NOT in Keaton's face or figure), and the card had pinholes, tears, and small paper loss around the edges. Overall, the window card was in good condition prior to paperbacking. The window card was expertly backed by a talented restorer, and it displays really well, and the restorer did airbrushing parts of the solid white areas, to "even them out".
