An Original Vintage Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh) (Learn More)

The Cowboy and the Kid, the 1936 Ray Taylor cowboy western starring Buck Jones, Billy Burrud (11 years old and in the title role as Jimmy Thomas, "The Kid"), Harry Worth, Charles Lemoyne, Dick Rush, Dorothy Revier, and Oliver Eckhardt. Note that it was not at all odd in the 1930s for tough cowboys to have young male "pals" that they "palled" around with (Tom Tyler had Frankie Darro, etc). This is the only movie that Buck Jones made with Billy Burrud, so either they didn't have chemistry together, or Burrud wanted more substantial roles!
