Artist: Jack Thurston Important Added Info: This half-sheet had a studio-issued corrective credits snipe in the middle right, and at the bottom right of the credits. The difference between the regular credits and the corrective credits is that the part that was covered over says "Filmed in Giant Panamation". A knowledgeable collector tells us that "Panamation" was simply another name for Harryhausen's Super-Dynamation process. However, it is likely copyright issues with Panavision caused the studio to issue the snipe. Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. There is a dot stain in Welch's forehead. The poster once had two snipes on it and there is slight uneven darkening in those two areas. There is minor wear on the folds and creases around the edges, with a 2" tear in the left of the bottom border. Learn More about condition grades
