Date Sold 7/9/2023 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 5 unfolded single-sided 27x40 one-sheets from Alien 3, the 1992 David Fincher science fiction (sci-fi) space monster action horror thriller sequel ("3 times the suspense. 3 times the danger. 3 times the terror."; "This time it's hiding in the most terrifying place of all."; "In 1979 it came from within. In 1986 it was gone forever. In 1992 our worst fears have come true. It's back."; "Based on Characters Created by Dan O'Bannon and Ronald Shusett") starring Sigourney Weaver (as Ripley), Charles S. Dutton, Charles Dance, Lance Henriksen (as Bishop), and Paul McGann. Note that this movie went through many scripts and cast and crew changes! Originally, acclaimed science fiction writer William Gibson wrote a script (and because Sigourney Weaver was likely not going to be in the movie, his script focused on Hicks and Bishop). Gibson's script also had eight scenes of aliens bursting out of chests, compared to two in the first sequel. Some people consider this first script to be superior to the final finished film, or any of the other scripts written after it. IMPORTANT! The lot contains 5 identical posters, so we have only pictured one, but the winner of this auction receives all 5 posters! Measurements: 27" x 40"Note that this is one of 47 lots of one-sheets we are currently auctioning, in 47 separate auctions. Each has five examples of the same poster, and we have only pictured one (because all are in excellent condition). Our consignor knows that he can get more money for these if he auctioned them one at a time, but he wants to sell them more quickly, so he authorized us to put them in these lots of 5 posters per lot. They are quite possibly going to sell for discounted prices, and dealers or collectors who buy these lots will probably be able to sell some of them and end up with one or more for "free", and possibly make money besides!
