The Spotlight, the 1927 Frank Tuttle silent mistaken identity romantic love triangle theater stage acting melodrama ("Adapted from the story 'Footlights' by Rita Weiman"; about a stage actress who has a boring past, and when she meets an interesting man, she pretends to be a Russian woman with an exotic past, and the man falls in love with her, but eventually he must learn the truth about her, and will he still love her?) starring Esther Ralston, Neil Hamilton, Nicholas Soussanin, Arlette Marchal, and Arthur Housman. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
