Condition: good to very good. The poster had tears and tiny areas of paper loss to the left and right of the top crossfold and creases and small tears across the top foldline. There were creases, smudges, tears, and some tiny areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer did not address the border defects, and you can see some signs of the restoration on the top foldline. Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster.
