The Man who put the Man in roMANce"; "Directed by Alfred Hitchcock Director of 'The Man Who Knew Too Much"; "A hundred steps ahead of any picture this year"; from the novel by John Buchan; perhaps Alfred Hitchcock's best movie ever; there are too many wonderful plot twists and clever moments to describe here, but everyone should see this excellent movie!) starring Robert Donat, Madeleine Carroll, Lucie Mannheim, Godfrey Tearle, and Peggy Ashcroft NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: There is pencil writing on the back of the still giving the theater name and play dates where the still was used. Condition: very good to fine. There is a very faint horizontal scuff line across the upper center of the still (running just below Donat's face, but above Mannheim's).
