An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Wyoming Outlaw, the 1939 George Sherman cowboy western ("Based on the characters created by William Colt McDonald") starring The Three Mesquiteers (John Wayne, Ray 'Crash' Corrigan, and Raymond Hatton), Don 'Red' Barry, Pamela Blake, LeRoy Mason, Charles Middleton, Elmo Lincoln (best remembered for being the very first actor to portray Tarzan in the movies in 1918), Yakima Canutt. Note that this movie was one of several John Wayne quickly made immediately after his star-making role in 1939's "Stagecoach", and first release movie paper of any kind is extremely rare!
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that John Wayne had his first chance at stardom in 1930 with "The Big Trail", and when that was not successful, he spent a few years in minor roles, and then became a major B-western star, and stayed that way until 1939, when he made "Stagecoach" and became a major star. At that point, all of his 1930s B-westerns were re-released, and no doubt that adds to the rarity of original lobby cards from those movies (many times, original movie paper from movies with quick re-releases is scarce, and B-western lobby cards from the mid 1930s were always scarce anyway, because few theaters likely ordered them). Original 1939 lobby cards from this movie are incredibly scarce, and we have never auctioned any of them! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good to fine. Note that this lobby card is in excellent condition and is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
