Date Sold 2/21/2021 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 3 trimmed 27x40 one-sheets mounted on 30x40 boards from Ian Fleming's Diamonds Are Forever. This is a sad story. Apparently, in 1971, a theater needed 30x40s because they had a frame that fit those, but they only had one-sheets from this movie. So they took three one-sheets, trimmed 1" from each, and then glued the posters to heavy boards and used them! All three have a number of defects, as seen in our image, and they are mounted to the boards. They CAN, of course, be restored. Also, they were sent to us rolled in an 8" tube, and they could be re-sent to the high bidder that way, or they could be sent in a very large flat package, but bear all this in mind before bidding. Measurements: trimmed to 27" x 40"Of course, Diamonds Are Forever is the 1971 Guy Hamilton English James Bond 007 secret agent spy espionage fantasy action adventure thriller ("Diamonds are Forever Forever Forever Forever Forever Forever"; based on the novel by Ian Flemingl) starring Sean Connery (as James Bond), Jill St. John ("as 'Tiffany Case'"), Charles Gray (as Blofeld), Lana Wood (billed as "also starring Lana Wood as 'Plenty O'Toole'"), Jimmy Dean, Bruce Cabot, Lola Larson (as "Bambi"), Trina Parks (as "Thumper", one of the few black African American Bond girls!), and Denise Perrier. Note that the part of Bambi was originally played by Donna Garrett, but she was replaced mid-filming by Lola Larson, and no footage of Garrett remains in the movie, but there may be some publicity photos with her (Garrett and Larson looked very much alike).
