An Original 1952 Vintage Theatrical Folded Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Charles Starrett, the 1945 Columbia stock poster that Columbia printed for theaters to use when they showed a Charles Starrett western. The theater owners would either hand-write the titles of the specific movie they were showing, or the movie information for a specific movie would be overprinted in the blank area. We have only seen this stock poster in the six-sheet size. Note that there was also later 1950s stock posters, but because they are from seven years later, we list them separately. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Glenn Cravath Important Added Info: Note that the poster says "A COLUMBIA REPRINT" in the lower right. This was a terminology used by Columbia Pictures at this time for some re-releases, and it has caused some collectors to be confused! This poster is the original poster from the 1952 re-release of this movie, and is NOT a "reprint"! Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and creases along the horizontal foldlines. There were pinholes in the corners and creases, smudges, and tiny tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great! Learn More about condition grades
