An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card #2 (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock's Dial M For Murder, the classic 1954 Alfred Hitchcock 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) romantic love triangle crime murder mystery detective suspense thriller ("...is that you, darling?"; "Written by Frederick Knott who wrote the International Stage Success"; "If a woman answers... hang on for dear life!"; "Is this the man she was waiting for... or the man who was waiting for her?"; "Perfect 3 Dimension in the Hitchcock manner!") starring Ray Milland, Grace Kelly, Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), John Williams, and Anthony Dawson. Note that, although this movie was filmed in 3-D, none of the original posters mention it at all (there is an explanation in the pressbook that because they know many theaters will not show it in 3-D, "the ads have been designed so that the 3D copy may be eliminated" [and obviously, this is why they did not put 3-D on the posters]). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. 1/4" was trimmed from the right blank border (only blank white paper was lost). There are some faint scuffs in the solid black areas (the man's clothes, the shadow behind him, and in his hair). This is a minor defect, typical to cards of this era (something about the inks of the solid dark colors that were used at the time caused them to pick up scuffs easily). The scuffs and the minor trimming of part of the right blank border have little effect on the "displayability" of the card! Learn More about condition grades
