Ireland is Waiting to Welcome You!, the 1950s (possibly 1955) Irish travel poster ("Land of legend") encouraging people to visit Ireland, and featuring Muriel Brandt art of the Irish countryside and ancient ruins. Note that this poster was issued by Fogra Failte, which handled publicity for An Bord Failte (formerly known as the Irish Tourist Board).

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had some small areas of paper loss in parts of several borders, but only blank white paper was affected. It had a 3" tear in the top border that extended into the background above the "nd" of "Land", but solely in the blank border. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
