The poster had creases, small tears, and tiny paper loss along parts of many folds, and pinholes, tape stains, and small areas of paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
