Now the motion picture that's just as real.") starring Marilyn Burns, Paul A. Partain, Edwin Neal (as the hitchhiker), Jim Siedow, Gunnar Hansen ("as Leatherface"), William Vail, Teri McMinn, John Larroquette (as the narrator), Allen Danziger, John Dugan, and Ed Guinn NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! This movie was submitted to the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) in February 1975, and it was not even allowed to be released with an X rating! The distributor made very slight cuts and resubmitted it and it was again rejected for wide release, but the Greater London Council allowed for it to be shown in London only, and British quads were made that had "X (LONDON)" under the title. A few local areas defied the ban on the movie and British quads were made that had "X (LOCAL)" under the title. VERY FEW OF EITHER TYPE OF QUAD HAVE SURVIVED! The quad offered here is the one for the local release, which we have never auctioned before! We only once auctioned the London release quad and it sold for $1,927! Condition: good to very good. There are tape stains in the center of the top and bottom of the poster and in the bottom right corner. There is slight darkening in the other three corners and a tiny pair of staple holes in the left of the bottom border. There are some creases above and below the right and left ends of the horizontal fold and in the bottom of the right vertical fold (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
