An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures approximately 28" x 42") (Learn More)

Paramount Pictures, the circa 1915 stock poster ("Paramount Pictures Can Be Seen at the Best Theatres in your city"). Originally, Paramount was a not a studio, but was a "releasing program" that was a group of small studios who joined together to have an added advantage releasing their movies under one production name. This poster was created to send to theaters who showed mostly Paramount silent movies in its earliest days. Note that even in 1915, the famous Paramount Pictures logo was virtually identical to what it would be many decades later!
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet measures approximately 28" x 42". Please do not bid on this poster thinking it is 27" x 41".

Condition: fair to good. The poster had tears and areas of paper loss across the top foldline with a 3" x 4" triangular area of paper loss at the top crossfold (extending into the top of the "am" of "Paramount"). There were stains across the middle foldline and in the background area below it. There was large paper loss in the top left corner approximately 3" x 10" (affecting the blue border area). Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer solely re-created the missing areas in the top of the poster and did nothing about the stains across the middle of the poster.
