An Original Vintage Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Still (Learn More) Mildred Burke (born Mildred Bliss) was a female professional wrestler from the 1930s to the 1950s. In the 1930s, Burke wrestled over 200 men, but only lost to one. She was billed as "The One and Only World Champion Girl Wrestler". She was later frozen out of the NWA after she divorced her husband and manager, Billy Wolfe, but she went on to start the World Women's Wrestling Association and start her own wrestling school! Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Mildred Burke! Note that this still is from the collection of Robert J. Fieth. He was born in 1923, and as a teenager, he began writing to celebrities in the 1940s, and continued to do so over several decades, acquiring a collection of over 500 autographed photos (many of which are personalized to him, either as "To Robert J. Fieth", or "To Robert", or "To Bob"). We have been consigned a number of signed photos from this collection, the majority of which were obtained in the 1940s or 1950s! Condition: very good.
