Plasmatics were an punk rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) and heavy metal band from 1977 to 1988. The band was a controversial group known for wild live shows that broke countless taboos, including chainsawing guitars, destroying speaker cabinets, sledgehammering television sets and blowing up cars on stage. Some of their albums include: New Hope for the Wretched, Metal Priestess, and Maggots: The Record.
