Motorcycle Racing On a Vertical Wall (literal translation of the Russian title), the 1940 Russian circus poster promoting a motorcycle show, and featuring Vladimir Dobrovolsky art of two men racing along a circular wall (one is sitting "sidesaddle" with his arms in the air). Note that this poster is one of a collection of 36 similar posters that we were consigned (and are currently auctioning in 36 separate auctions). They include Russian, Uzbek, Ukranian, and Latvian posters, and some of them are movie posters, and others are circus posters, with a few other kinds of posters. All of these posters are incredibly rare, and on the vast majority of them, we have never auctioned them before, and it may be many years before we auction any of them again. This is a rare opportunity to purchase one or more of these posters, all of which have very striking images!

Condition: very good to fine. There is 1" of separation at the bottom of the vertical fold, with a 3/4" tear to the right of that. Otherwise, the poster is in generally nice condition!
