An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Australian One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 30" x 39 3/4" [76 x 101 cm]) (Learn More) If I Had a Million, the classic 1932 James Cruze, H. Bruce Humberstone, Ernst Lubitsch, Norman Z. McLeod, Stephen Roberts, William A. Seiter, Norman Taurog, and Lothar Mendes all-star comedy ("They're all in - If I Had A Million"; "They're all in it!"; based on the book 'Windfall' by Robert Andrews) starring Gary Cooper, George Raft, Wynne Gibson, Charles Laughton, Jack Oakie, Frances Dee, Charlie Ruggles, Alison Skipworth, W.C. Fields, Mary Boland, Roscoe Karns, May Robson, Gene Raymond, Lucien Littlefield, and Richard Bennett. Note that this was an all-star movie put together by Paramount wherein seven famous directors each directed a segment of the movie (the plot was about a multi-millionaire who left a million dollars each to total strangers; this movie was the basis for the very popular TV series "The Millionaire"). Most of Paramount's top stars appeared in the seven segments. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster is an Australian "one-sheet" that measures 30" x 40". At this time, British quads had a vertical orientation, and it makes sense that the early Australian one-sheets would have measured the same (especially since the Australian daybills at this time measured 15" x 40", which is exactly half this size). A few years after this, British quads went to a horizontal orientation, and we imagine that at the same time, Australian one-sheets went to a 27" x 41" measurement. Condition: fair. There are tears and paper loss in the left and right borders, extending into the edge of the image in a few places, but its main effect is on a tiny bit of the last letter of one of the credits (see our image). The top 2" were folded back at one time and there are pinholes in the corners. There were tears in the "if I" area of the title, and someone put tape on the back of those areas, and also a piece of tape on the back of the top and bottom of the vertical foldline. There is separation and tiny paper loss at the crossfolds. This very rare poster has very significant defects, so bear them in mind and look carefully at our super-sized image before placing a bid on it. Learn More about condition grades
