Cannes, the circa 1940s French travel poster promoting the vacation beach resort city of Cannes, France (of course, later it would become famous for its annual film festival!). Note that this poster features great artwork of fruit with a vista of the city in the background. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. Other than some tiny areas of paper loss in the top blank border, the poster was in nice condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
