An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Jesse James At Bay, the 1941 Joseph Kane outlaw cowboy western ("Original story by Harrison Jacobs") starring Roy Rogers (in the title role as Jesse James!), George 'Gabby' Hayes, Sally Payne, Gale Storm, Pierre Watkin, and Hal Taliaferro. Note that the horse Roy Rogers rode in the movie was his regular companion, Trigger, but because this was not a "Roy Rogers" movie, he could not be billed!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and creases and tiny tears down much of the vertical foldline. There was some tiny surface paper loss on parts of the horizontal foldlines. There were some faint horizontal scuff marks in the lower center of the image, and the bottom of Roy's knee and arms. There were some pinholes, smudges, and creases around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer did very little restoration to any of the above defects. If I owned this poster, I would have it touched up by a talented restorer (and I believe it could be done without re-backing the poster). After proper additional restoration, the poster will look great!
