La Petite Chocolatiere (released in English-speaking countries as "The Chocolate Girl"), the 1949 Andre Berthomieu French comedy starring Giselle Pascal, Claude Dauphin, Bernard Lajarrige (billed as "Lajarrige"), Aime Barelli, George Lannes, Jean Nohain, Henri Cremieux, Paulette Dubost, Henry Genes, and Jeannette Batti

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this French poster, which is a "country of origin" poster for this French movie, and that same poster has now been reconsigned to us, so it is still the only example of this poster we have ever auctioned! Also note that French posters from the first few years after World War II are among the most rare posters there are! Apparently, there were still major paper shortages in France, and few posters were printed, and most were recycled. This is an extremely rare French poster from 1949. Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 44 1/2" x 62 1/2" [113 x 159 cm]. Finally, note that this poster has been kraftbacked, which means it was backed onto a brown paper soon after it was printed (this process is called "kraft-backing", and posters with it are called "kraft-backed"). One could have it professionally removed from the kraft paper and linenbacked, and it would look great!
