An Original Vintage Film Poster Maquette (measures 32 1/4" x 42 1/2") (Learn More)

a hand-painted original film poster maquette of a woman painted by Valentin Georgievich Tsarev, a Russian painter who lived from 1909 to 1963. Note that this may have been painted for the film "A Esli Eto Lyubov" (But What If This Is Love?). the 1961 Russian movie. The painting bears a remarkable resemblance to Picasso's "Woman with a Book" from 1932. If anyone knows more about this painting, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: fair. There are many scuffs scattered throughout the painting (see our image for exact details). There are many tears around the edges (some of them were repaired with small pieces of tape from the back).
