An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 10 3/4" x 13 1/2" [27 x 34 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Guy Kibbee was an actor from the 1920s to the 1950s. Some of his movies include: Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Fort Apache, Captain Blood, and 3 Godfathers. He passed away in 1956 at the age of 74. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Guy Kibbee! Our consignor is a dealer who purchased this signed item (together with others we are currently auctioning) from the estate of a South American collector who collected signed items and many other collectibles over several decades, and that collector had many extremely valuable items, both signed and unsigned. Our consignor does not have a certificate of authenticity, but because they came from the estate of this collector, we think it is extremely likely the signature is authentic. Also note that this still measures 10 3/4" x 13 1/2" [27 x 34 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Finally, note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: fair to good. Unfortunately, Kibbee signed in a fountain pen that blends significantly with his suit in the lower right, and you mostly have to tilt the still to the light to read it (see our image).
