Date Sold 11/22/2018Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage English Movie Trade Ad (measures 8" x 11" [20 x 28 cm]; 1 page) (Learn More) The Mummy, the 1959 Terence Fisher English Hammer Egypt monster horror thriller ("Fear will freeze you when you face... 'The Mummy'"; "Nerve-Shattering Shock!"; "It's evil look brings Madness! Its evil touch Kills! Kills! Kills!"; "All New! In terrifying Technicolor!"; "Torn from the tomb to terrify the world!") starring Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee (in the title role as Kharis, the Mummy), Yvonne Furneaux, Eddie Byrne, Felix Aylmer, George Pastell, and Raymond Huntley NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a great one-page trade ad taken out of an English Photoplay magazine (we have a number of them in this set of auctions, and also some two-page English trade ads and a few English brochures). Studios would run these elaborate ads in issues of this magazine, and they often had images not found on any of the regular movie posters (either English or U.S.). This 1-page trade ad was removed from a 1959 issue of this magazine, and it will look incredible displayed on the new owner's wall. The back of this page has text or an ad for other movies from that time, and we have not pictured that back page because the primary interest to bidders is this great ad (see our image)! Also note that this is a country of origin item for this English movie. Condition: very good. The ad was removed from a magazine (see above). Learn More about condition grades
