An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Lady Has Plans, the 1942 Sidney Lanfield Portugal World War II (WWII) romantic spy espionage crime comedy (a clever story of a female spy who has stolen secret plans tattooed on her back, so that she can safely take them to Lisbon, where she plans to auction them to the highest bidder, either the Nazis or the English; she travels posing as a woman reporter, but then the real reporter happens to go to Lisbon before she does, and many people are trying to find her, either to safeguard the plans or to get them, but of course, she doesn't actually have them!) starring Ray Milland, Paulette Goddard, Roland Young, Albert Dekker, Margaret Hayes, Cecil Kellaway, and Edward Norris NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tears and areas of paper loss in the top half of the vertical foldline and in the top horizontal foldline, with a lesser amount of wear on the other two folds. There were pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
