An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) The Garden of Eden, the 1928 Lewis Milestone silent Paris, France romantic comedy ("The Hotel Eden appraised her at once as a princess"; "Based on the play by Rudolf Bernnauer and Rudolph Oesterreicher"; a modern re-telling of the Cinderella fairy tale, with a small town girl who visits Paris, and who wins over a dashing playboy after she has transformed into an elegant beauty by a mysterious "fairy godmother") starring Corinne Griffith ("Her First United Artists Picture"), Lowell Sherman, Louise Dresser, Charles Ray, and Maude George. Note that director Lewis Milestone and art director William Cameron Menzies went on to great triumphs, but both had already been active in movies for a full decade! This vintage movie publicity still is in lesser condition (what most collectors might call "good"). It has real defects typical of poorly stored photographs that are ten to eighty years old.
