Note that there have been many real life cases where someone has tried to make their spouse think they are losing their sanity, and it is commonly referred to as "gaslighting" that person, because of this famous movie with that plot, and in recent years, this term has become very trendy, and it is used by many young people, and surely most of them have no knowledge of its connection to this movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have auctioned five examples of this poster, but only one example of this poster in the past 25 years, and that example sold for $1,550! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss scattered on parts of the folds. It had pinholes and tears around the edges, with some small paper loss in the left blank border. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, with no excess, but at some point after it was backed, it came in contact with water, which stained the bottom 1", extending up as high as 2" in the bottom corners. It is not that visible from the front, but certainly, it would make sense to have the poster removed from the linen and properly re-backed. Learn More about condition grades
