Date Sold 4/3/2018Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (1p; measures 39" x 55" [99 x 140 cm]) (Learn More) Ultimo Mondo Cannibale (released in the U.S. in 1978 as "The Last Survivor" and release in other English-speaking countries as "Cannibal"), the 1977 Ruggero Deodato Italian jungle cannibalism adventure horror thriller ("Can this modern man survive in a stone age world? Robert Harper planewrecked in an unexplored jungle hell, captured by a lost tribe, cruel and primitive beyond belief, escaped and fought his way back to civilization. THIS IS HIS TRUE STORY!") starring Massimo Foschi, Me Me Lai, Ivan Rassimov, Sheik Razak Shikur, and Judy Rosley. Note that director Ruggero Deodato followed this ultra gory movie three years later with "Cannibal Holocaust" in 1980. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has one of the coolest examples of poster censorship we have ever seen! The printed poster has the two naked people in the inset circle. Apparently, this offended some Italian censor, and two sections of additional "leaves" were printed and strategically glued over those two people's bodies! Depending on how you look at it, this is either a major detraction, or a really cool addition to this poster, because it shows just how fanatical censors were back in the 1970s, even in sexually liberated Europe! Also note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Italian movie! Condition: good. There are printed snipes glued over the naked people (see above). Learn More about condition grades
