He was mainly a character actor who has appeared in movies and television. He is instantly recognizable to any long-time television viewer, because he has appeared on virtually every series! Perhaps he is best remembered as Patty Duke's father on the classic TV show "The Patty Duke Show". Some of his movies include: The Man from Planet X, Rose of Cimarron, Riot in Cell Block 11, The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, The Twilight Zone, and Lincoln's Eyes (in the title role as Abraham Lincoln). Schallert also made an appearance on TV's "Star Trek" and "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine"! Schallert passed away in 2016 at the age of 93. Our consignor obtained this program in a collection from a man named Andy, who obtained these autographs in person by going to collectibles shows and conventions for decades.
