Date Sold 12/25/2016 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 4 laser discs from Francois Truffaut movies. Note that the items in this lot are from the 1980s and 1990s. Francois Truffaut was a French actor, writer, and director from the 1950s to the 1980s. He was a French film critic who made his first movie, "Les Quatre cents coups" (The 400 Blows), about his troubled childhood, and together with Godard, they gave birth to the French "New Wave". Some of his other movies include: Day For Night (for which he was nominated for the Best Director Academy Award), Fahrenheit 451, Jules et Jim, A Bout De Souffle, and he had a memorable acting role in Steven Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Note that these are from a very large collection of laser discs we were consigned from the estate of a very longtime collector, and they are all being auctioned in bulk lots in this set of auctions. This is a wonderful opportunity to acquire these, at a fraction of the original retail prices! We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Measurements: each measures approximately 12 1/4" x 12 1/4"Condition: good to very good. The jackets have some wear.
