An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Belgian Movie Poster (measures 14 1/2" x 19 3/4" [37 x 50 cm]) (Learn More) Irving Berlin's White Christmas, the classic 1954 Michael Curtiz post-World War II sisters holiday singing-and-dancing romantic musical (with classic "Lyrics and music by Irving Berlin"; "The most fabulous music-and-mirth show in motion picture history!"; "Joyous entertainment for every season, any year!!!!") starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Vera-Ellen, and Dean Jagger. Note that this was the first motion picture to be filmed in VistaVision! Also note that the title song "White Christmas" was first introduced in 1942 in the Fred Astaire/Bing Crosby movie "Holiday Inn", and it proved to be so popular that this movie was made, utilizing part of the plot of that earlier film, and reusing this song, which was now over a decade old, but it proved to be an even greater hit! Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned three examples of this poster with this design before! Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14 1/2" x 19 3/4" [37 x 50 cm]. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster has a few spotty dot stains scattered in various areas with some discoloration in the borders. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). There are several light creases scattered in various areas and there are some extra creases along portions of the horizontal folds. It has a few pinholes and creases and tiny tears along portions of the borders. It is still colorful and otherwise it is "mostly all there" and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
