Note that this was one of the nine wonderful movies that Astaire and Rogers made between 1933 and 1939 (they made one final movie, "The Barkleys of Broadway", eleven years later in 1949). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds. It had a 3" vertical tear 1" to the left of the top crossfold and a 4" tear 2" to the left of the middle crossfold, with a 2" tear 1" to the left of the bottom crossfold, and a 4" tear 3" to the left of the bottom crossfold. There were tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss scattered down the vertical foldline and a lesser amount on the horizontal folds. There were pinholes, creases, and a few tears around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
