An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Presskit (measures 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; contains 3 supplements, and 9 stills) (Learn More) The Scout, the 1994 Michael Ritchie baseball sports fantasy comedy ("He was praying for a miracle. What he got was Steve Nebraska.") starring Albert Brooks (in the title role), Brendan Fraser, Dianne Wiest, Anne Twomey, and Lane Smith. Note that it took a VERY long time for this movie to come to the screen. It was first written in 1983, at which time Peter Falk was intended to play the baseball agent. It was never produced, and in 1989, Rodney Dangerfield wrote a new screenplay, with himself as the agent and Sam Kinison as the superstar baseball player. That too was never produced, and five years later, it finally made it to the screen! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have taken a picture of the cover of the presskit and eight of the stills (less than eight if the presskit has less than eight stills, of course). We have noted if the presskit contains any supplements, but we do not picture them. All of the presskits are sealed and ready to be sent, and we cannot answer any questions about the contents, especially about what any stills we may have not pictured show. REMEMBER TO LOOK AT THE TOP OF THIS AUCTION TO SEE HOW MANY STILLS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS PRESSKIT, BECAUSE WE NEVER PICTURE MORE THAN EIGHT OF THEM (and we pretty much picked eight stills at random). Condition: very good. Many of the presskits we are auctioning this week were carefully stored away for many years, and the stills are in really excellent condition.
