An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 83 1/2") (Learn More) Ian Fleming's Thunderball, the 1965 Terence Young English James Bond 007 secret agent spy espionage fantasy action adventure thriller ("L007k up! L007k down! L007k out!"; "Here comes the biggest Bond of all!"; "Based on the original story by Kevin McClory, Jack Whittingham and Ian Fleming") starring Sean Connery (as James Bond 007), Claudine Auger, (as Domino) Adolfo Celi (as Largo), Luciana Paluzzi, Rik Van Nutter, Martine Beswick, Guy Doleman, Molly Peters, Bernard Lee (as "M"), Lois Maxwell (as Miss Moneypenny), Desmond Llewellyn (as "Q"), Paul Stassino, Bob Simmons, and Rose Alba NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This three-sheet was printed in 2 sections. Note that the theater that used this poster taped the two pieces together before putting them on display (this is typical of many actual theater-used three-sheets). Condition: good. Someone neatly cut the poster along the bottom of the underwater image (just around the exact center of the poster). Apparently, they used the bottom half of the poster as a stand-alone poster. They later taped the two pieces back together with masking tape from the reverse, and they also taped the upper section of the poster to the bottom section, which is the area between the "LOOK UP" and "LOOK DOWN" images, with masking tape on the back of the top and bottom of that area, and clear tape on the front of that area. Over the years, the three areas of masking tape on the back and the clear tape on the front have all yellowed and darkened the poster. Obviously, a talented restorer can remove the tape and lighten the stains through bleaching, and then linenback the poster, but they almost certainly WILL have to do paint restoration to the stains and bleed through areas. Once the poster is properly restored, it will look fantastic, but it will likely have paint restoration in the areas described above, so please do not bid on this great poster unless you can accept the significant defects outlined above, and have carefully studied our super-sized image!
