An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 12" x 17" [30 x 43 cm]; 16 pages) (Learn More) Two Weeks in Another Town, the 1962 Vincente Minnelli Italy romantic movie-making melodrama ("...only in Rome could this story happen..."; "from the Great Best-Seller by Irwin Shaw"; "Based on the Novel by Irwin Shaw"; "Screen Play by Charles Schnee"; about a formerly top-of-the-heap famous director and washed up alcoholic superstar actor who go to Rome to shoot a movie and hopefully resurrect both of their careers) starring Kirk Douglas, Edward G. Robinson, Cyd Charisse, George Hamilton, Dahlia Lavi, Claire Trevor, James Gregory, and Rosanna Schiaffino. Note that director Vincente Minnelli cleverly used footage from his classic "The Bad and the Beautiful" which he had made 10 years earlier with Kirk Douglas within the movie (it is used as a film that the characters in the movie are watching, as a reminder of how big a director Douglas had been).
