If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss and tiny creases on parts of the folds. It was trimmed on the left and right borders, not just the white border, but also the part of the left border up to the edge of the lettering on each side (and it slightly affected the "H" of "MAMMOTH"). There was also additional paper loss in the top right corner. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. A talented restorer did an excellent job replacing the missing white and yellow areas, and the poster displays well! Learn More about condition grades
