Also note that this poster was issued as a souvenir of the 29th Triennial Conclave of the Knights Templar which was held in San Francisco, California in September. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had some horizontal creases unevenly scattered throughout the poster, with two partial ones going through the knight's face and the top of the horse's head. There was some small paper loss on a crease going through the horse's legs. There were tears and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
