Narayama Bushiko (released in English-speaking countries as "The Ballad of Narayama"), the 1983 Shohei Imamura Japanese old age romantic family relationship melodrama (winner of the 1983 Cannes Grand Prix; about a small village in Japan where people are sent to a mountain top to die when they turn 70, and the central character is a 69 year old woman who wants to find her son a wife before she goes to the mountain) starring Ken Ogata, Sumiko Sakamoto, Aki Takejo, Tonpei Hidari, and Mitsuko Baisho

Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie! Also note that this Japanese B1 poster measures 28 1/2" x 40 3/4" [72 x 104 cm]. Also note that this is a rare Japanese "B1" poster that measures 28 1/2" x 40 3/4" [72 x 104 cm]! "B1" posters are FAR more rare than "B2" posters (which measure approximately 20" x 28 1/2"), and because they are larger (similar in size to a U.S. one-sheet), they are more impressive when displayed on a wall! Finally, note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. There is a snipe glued over the lower edge of the poster that extends it to a total length of 28 1/2" x 45".
