An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Mexican Movie Poster (measures 27 1/4" x 34 3/4" [69 x 88 cm]) (Learn More) Flor De Sangre (literally translates to "Flower of Blood"), the 1951 Zacarias Gomez Urquiza Mexican romantic mystery thriller melodrama (based on the novel by Luis Spota) starring Esther Fernandez, Domingo Soler, Victor Junco, Alberto Mariscal (billed as "Adalberto Ramirez"), and Elda Peralta. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this Mexican poster was never folded, which is unusual for Mexican posters of this time period! Note also that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this Mexican poster, which is a "country of origin" poster for this Mexican movie, and the last one sold for $281! Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has slightly darkened (typical of Mexican posters) and it has areas of blank border loss around the edges (some of which have become slightly fragile.) There is only one tear at lower left that slightly extends into the image area, and otherwise that area is in pretty nice condition, so after linenbacking (at which time the borders would be restored) the poster will look excellent!
