An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Six-Sheet Movie Poster (6sh; measures 81" x 81" [206 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) Mountain Rhythm, the 1942 Frank McDonald musical slapstick comedy starring The Weaver Brothers & Elviry (Leon Weaver, Frank Weaver, and June "Elviry" Weaver), Lynn Merrick, Frank M. Thomas, Sally Payne, Dickie Jones, and Joseph Allen Jr. Note that this was a typical 1940s slapstick comedy with the Weaver Brothers buying land in California next to a boys' school, and having trouble with the boys, and the posters are pretty bland. But the poster artist on the window card, Jack Graven (perhaps with or without the studio's approval), made an entirely different graphic showing the Weaver Brothers as polo players wearing patriotic T-shirts, and the polo balls they are hitting have the faces of Adolf Hitler and Emperor Hirohito! Condition: good to very good. There is some darkening on the back of the part of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded.
