First Annual Black Arts Festival, the 1970s black African American culture festival held in the EMU Ballroom ("University of Oregon's black student Union presents Segments of Black Culture") featuring Don L. Lee, Alonzo Davis, Bill Cosby, Edwin Hawkins Singers, and Johnny Shines. We were unable to discover exactly what year this was held, but we think it is likely 1975. If anyone knows more about this poster or the date this event was held, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good to very good. The poster had creases and stains in the bottom of the poster and a few creases and scuffs in the rest of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
