Note that Sidney Poitier was 28 years old at the time of filming, but could reasonably pass as a high school student. Just 12 years later it would be Poitier who played the teacher dealing with troubled teens in another classic teaching movie, "To Sir, With Love"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
