Note that Astor Pictures, which had been known for mostly re-releasing classic U.S. movies in the 1940s and 1950s, acquired the rights for the first American release of this classic Italian movie, which they released on April 19, 1961. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that in 1960, this classic movie was released in the U.S., but it was only shown in a cut version, because it was considered too sexy for American audiences! Finally, in 1966, AIP had the bright idea of releasing it in an uncut version (but dubbed), and they printed new posters with the prominent tagline that read "NOW FOR ALL TO SEE, UNCUT, UNCENSORED", and some items had a "First Time English Language Version" studio snipe. Condition: good to very good. Each of the cards has a snipe at lower right (see our images and note the above information). The cards are otherwise in pretty nice condition and they have no tape whatsoever on the front or back, and they never have had any restoration of any kind! Learn More about condition grades
