We have only auctioned one example of it in all our years of auctioning, and it was the same example as this poster, which has now been re-consigned to us, so it is still the only example of this poster we have ever seen! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor fold wear. There were pinholes, tears, and some areas of paper loss in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, but the restorer did very little restoration to the blank border defects, likely rightfully assuming they will not show when the poster is framed.
