An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Belgian Movie Poster (measures 15" x 22 1/4") (Learn More)

Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, the classic 1957 John Sturges cowboy western starring Burt Lancaster (as Marshal Wyatt Earp), Kirk Douglas (as Doc Holliday), Rhonda Fleming, Jo Van Fleet, John Ireland (as Johnny Ringo), Lyle Bettger (as Ike Clanton), Dennis Hopper (as Billy Clanton), John Hudson (as Virgil Earp), DeForest Kelley (as Morgan Earp), Martin Milner (as Jimmy Earp), and Kenneth Tobey (as Bat Masterson). Note that Kelley and Milner, who played the other Earp brothers would go on to great fame on TV shows! Finally, there is no great evidence that any of these events ever occurred! They were written down many years after the fact, and were told by people who said they were there, but there is no corroboration for their stories.

Condition: very good. The poster was folded down the middle and there was darkening around the outer edges of the blank borders. There is a paper snipe over the entire top area, and it also covers the words "PARAMOUNT presente" in the top left. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, but the restorer left on the paper snipe.
