Artist: d'apres Saul Bass Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this Belgian poster, and the last one was 8 years ago! Note that this poster reuses the Saul Bass art from the first release U.S. poster, but because it was not the first time the art was used, the poster designer added "d'apres", meaning that this was not the first time this artwork was used (this is always true when it is a Belgian artist's work, but since in this case the art was originally by Saul Bass, an American artist, it is possible that it is the work of a Belgian artist copying Saul Bass). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny bits of paper loss and creases along parts of the folds, with some darkening around the edges and on the folds. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
