An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Next of Kin, the 1942 (released in the U.S. in 1943) Thorold Dickinson English World War II (WWII) propaganda military thriller ("Somebody talked!"; "Prologue and Epilogue by J. Edgar Hoover Director of F.B.I."; made by the English War Office and the Ealing film studio to bolster the morale of the people on the Home Front, and to warn against the dangers of "loose lips") starring Nova Pilbeam, Phyllis Stanley, Basil Sidney, Stephen Murry, and Philip Friend NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had three faint lines of water staining down the bottom 1/3 of the poster running through the "O" of "OF" in the title. Otherwise, the poster had minor fold wear and pinholes and a few tiny tears and tiny areas of paper loss in the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer left alone the faint water staining described above, which is truly not very distracting. Learn More about condition grades
