An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Sunset in El Dorado, the 1945 Frank McDonald singing cowboy western ("Original Story by Leon Abrams") starring Roy Rogers ("King of the Cowboys"), Trigger ("The Smartest Horse in the Movies"), George 'Gabby' Hayes, Dale Evans, Hardie Albright, Margaret Dumont, Roy Barcroft, and Bob Nolan and The Sons of The Pioneers. Note that it might seem odd that Dale Evans was fourth billed (below Trigger and Gabby Hayes!), but at this time, she and Roy were married to other people, and they were only a couple on screen. The following year, Roy's wife sadly died, and when Dale divorced soon after, their on screen romance continued off screen as well! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
