Jean-Michel Basquiat was an artist and painter from the 1970s to the 1980s. He first achieved fame as part of the graffiti duo SAMO, alongside Al Diaz, writing enigmatic epigrams in Manhattan's Lower East Side during the late 1970s. By the early 1980s, his paintings were being exhibited in galleries and museums internationally. Since his death at the age of 27 in 1988, Basquiat's work has steadily increased in value, and in 2017, one of his works sold for a record-breaking $110.5 million.

Important Added Info: Note that this is a commercial print of a poster promoting an exhibition which was held at the Ghiostro del Bramante in Rome.

Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has a certificate of authenticity and some ink pad stamps on back and some light creases. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition.
